Family Law Service was launched in 1980 in response to the setting up of the Family Court system in New Zealand.
It is divided into three parts - the legislation (Legislation binders 1,2, and 3), the commentary (Commentary binders 1 and 2) and the practice (Practice and Procedure binder). Family Law Service provides essential information for practitioners and other professionals involved in proceedings before the Family Court and generally in matters concerning the family. Expert commentators and practitioners in the family law field write the commentary.
