How do the browse and search functions work for accessing the Store catalogue?
When exploring the Store you have several options:
- Browse by Practice Area
- Browse by Topic
- Browse a List of New Releases
If you already know exactly what product you are looking for, you may search for that product directly using either a simple keyword search, or a more comprehensive advanced search, which allows searching in several fields, such as:

What are the terms of payment in the Store?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Orders, Shipping & Returns
Is the Store online ordering process secure?
Yes. The LexisNexis Store site uses state-of-the-art security provided by Netscape's secure socket layer, which ensures that sensitive information does not pass through unecrypted. The Store does not maintain a database of your credit card numbers. In fact, if you need to discuss your website purchases or transactions with a Store representative, be sure to write down your transaction number.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
The orders are despatched on the next business day. If you are within NZ the order should arrive in a few days, deliveries outside NZ may take a few more days and it also depends on whether any of the items ordered are on backorder.
Standard Delivery: Your order will be processed on the next NZ business day. Please allow 3 - 5 days for delivery subsequent to the processing of your order.
The delivery fee for orders delivered within NZ consists of $11.50 inc GST for the first product, $5.75 inc GST for every subsequent softcover and $11.50 inc GST for every subsequent hardcover.
The delivery fee for orders delivered outside NZ is $30 and does not attract any GST component.
How do I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order that you have submitted, please call us at 0800 800 986 (8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). Or, send an email to email@example.com as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot cancel an order once it has been despatched.
How do I return an order?
For Written Publications (textbooks and bound volumes only):
1. You must notify us in writing within 30 days of the date of the invoice that you wish to cancel your order and you must return the goods to us in as-new condition.
2. If you fulfill the above conditions, we (in our absolute discretion) will either issue you with a credit or refund the purchase price paid by you.
3. Except where required by law, we will not accept returns of or issue credits for any Written Publications supplied by us but published by affiliated foreign publishers.
