Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand (CLANZ)
About CLANZ
The Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand (CLANZ) is a section of the New Zealand Law Society. CLANZ was established in 1987 to meet the needs of in-house lawyers including information sharing and networking. It recognises the distinct interests and needs of lawyers providing professional services to their employers. CLANZ members are New Zealand lawyers working in corporate, governmental and other organisations, rather than in private practice. CLANZ has approximately 2150 members who are practising in-house lawyers, from about 11,000 lawyers in New Zealand. The CLANZ Committee is elected by members at the annual conference in May.
CLANZ's mission is to provide leadership, support and relevant membership benefits to in-house lawyers.
