Ben joined the Partnership in Meyer Vandenberg in February 2010
after working with Mallesons Stephen Jaques in their Canberra
office for approximately 8 years. During his career, Ben has worked
on numerous high profile property and construction matters in the
Australian Capital Territory and other jurisdictions and also has
particular experience in the field of compulsory acquisition. Prior
to embarking on his legal career, Ben worked as an Aerospace
Engineer in the RAAF and as a Systems Engineering consultant to the
Department of Defence as part of the Defence Materiel
Organisation's major capital acquisition program.
Ben is a lead Partner in Meyer Vandenberg's Building and Construction Team and as such is heavily involved in the firm's engagement with property developers and construction projects. Ben has also been actively involved in the ACT Division of the Property Council of Australia for a number of years, particularly on the Sustainability Committee.
