LAWbase
Used by more than 500 law firms in New Zealand, LAWbase is a modular practice management and legal accounting system for small and medium-sized law firms. The software contains core modules, integral to the smooth running of any law firm, and optional modules to provide wider functionality for firms that need it.
We have listed a few tips and tricks below to facilitate using LAWbase:
- In Producer 4.1 you can print multiple reports for a client using the print multiple reports icon within the client project enquiry screen. It is the sixth icon on the project enquiry tool bar.
- Remember - you can record time without a client number if you need to and Producer will place it in the Pending column on your time manager. Once the file is open simply open and add the client number and your time will be recorded. Just remember to keep an eye on them so they don’t build up!
- Use the find button in Producer to find such things as client or project names and transaction references.
- Under File on your tool bar, you will see the calculator; you can use the interest calculator to work out interest on your deposits.
