Lexis Affinity
Scalable for legal practices employing 50+ users, Lexis Affinity is a practice management software solution that is customised to suit the needs of an individualfirm and includes complementary functionalities such as client extranet, CRM and workflow. We have listed a few tips and tricks below to facilitate using Lexis Affinity:
- If you cannot find the Phonebook Record/Client/Matter you are looking for in the list, make sure the filter is cleared.
- Use the Quickcodes to make data entry faster. Type \? to get a list of Quickcodes.
- Always put any entity the firm comes into contact with in the Phonebook.
- When entering a cheque or receipt into the general ledger, right click in the allocation line and select the ledger analysis driver to allocate the correct author, branch and department for that transaction.
- Remember to delete items from your snapshot pane that you are no longer regularly using.
