Business for the Rule of Law (B4ROL)
The United Nations Global Compact, with support from LexisNexis, has launched a new effort, Business for the Rule of Law, to engage the business community and legal profession in advancing the rule of law, good governance and corporate sustainability. In 2013, LexisNexis presented the Global Rule of Law Business Principles to the Secretary-General of the UN, Ban Ki-moon, to join forces and develop the B4ROL effort. Watch Video.
Australian Human Rights Commission Partnership
LexisNexis has partnered with the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) to develop RightsApp, a mobile application that searches international human rights conventions and declarations. In addition LexisNexis staff worked with the AHRC to update its free, online publication Federal Discrimination Law to help enable individuals to enforce their rights.
National Association of Community Legal Centres Partnership
LexisNexis and the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) have entered into a partnership to promote the rule of law in Australia by providing high quality online legal resources to over 180 Community Legal Centres operating across Australia and support better access to justice for the 200,000+ disadvantaged clients they assist every year.
