  • General Editor: The General Editor is Dr Don W McMorland. From 1968 to 2005 he taught Land Law and Vendor and Purchaser at Auckland University. He also had an extensive practice as a barrister specialising in opinion work in the conveyancing area from the mid-1970s to 2016. He is an original co-author of Hinde McMorland and Sim on Land Law in New Zealand and remains the General Editor of that work editing chapters 1 to 5, 7, 16, 17 and 18. Between 1982 and 2021 he was the editor of Butterworths Conveyancing Bulletin, and he has been the Consulting Editor of the NZCPR reports since their inception in 2003. In 2020 he was honoured by the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society by admission as an inaugural member of the Hall of Fame.
