District Court Reports
The District Court Reports provides a broad selection of important civil and criminal law cases from all District Court registries in New Zealand. It also includes selected High Court decisions that are not reported in the New Zealand Law Reports. The publication was established in 1996 and publishes approximately 10 parts per year. New judgments are added regularly to ensure that subscribers stay current.

- General Editor: The General Editor is Dr Brenda Midson. She graduated from the University of Waikato with a BA in English, LLB and MJur(Dist). She was previously a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Waikato, with teaching and research expertise in evidence, criminal law, and criminology, having also produced a number of publications on these topics. In June 2007 Brenda was one of the first women to participate in the New Zealand Women in Leadership Programme, sponsored by the New Zealand Vice-Chancellors’ Committee and was a member of the L-SHIP research team. She is also the General Editor of the New Zealand Law Journal.
